DAY 51: YOKOHAMA

Next stop: JAPAN

Passepartout got distracted and the steamboat "Carnatic" is sailing to Yokohama, in Japan. How can he save the situation? Read on in Around the World in 80 days.

Yokohama was a small Japanese village but thanks to its port, today is the second largest city in population, over 3 million people! Moreover, it's only half an our south of Tokio by train! They are always on time, comfy and efficient.

How are they called? Because they are the fastest trains in the world, people call them "Bullet Train" or "Shinkansen", in Japanese.

Clerk: the train arrives on platform …..
